Gents, does anyone know if a swingarm of an early monster will fit a 750 paso..? Can't find any good pictures either. :banghead:

no it will not, at least not without different modifications.
The swingarm is wider in the front compared to the Paso swingarm so you would need spacers to fit it to the engine.
The next problem woud be the shock.
Check Terry`s thread about the Mega Paso project. He modified an ST2 swingarm.
Pictures of Monster swingarms can be found on ebay, many of them. :)

Another concern with mounting the swingarm to the engine is that the Paso's swingarm has bearings, whereas the Monster has the pivot bearings in the engine cases.

When dealing with the swingarm, Gerhard (Paso750) shows a picture of an early Mosnter swingarm, which uses a huge rocker tucked under the seat, just like the 851/888 bikes. The newer monsters use more of an ST2/4 rear suspension. With either swingarm, you will need to do some serious modifications to them to match up with the stock Paso's suspension linkage and shock. To use a swingarm other than a Paso or 907, you either need to highly modify the swingarm for the Paso's suspension, or you need to graft the other bike's rear suspension to the Paso by highly modifying the frame, and who knows what else.

As Gerhard mentions, I've been working on a modified Paso project. I'm attempting a '99 ST4 916cc engine transplant (with wider swingarm mounting bosses in the cases) with a modified ST2/ST4 swingarm to work with the Paso's stock suspension linkage.

Here is a comparison of an ST2 swingarm with a Paso swingarm...
