Stalling

Hey everyone another question for yah.

When I'm at a stop, yesterday I would just slowly let the clutch out (1st gear) and ride off. Today I seem to be stalling out most of the time I try this. Is this a possible problem or just my inexperience at riding?

Also there is a small red led next to the trip reset knob. It's lit up. I can't find anything in the (admittedly extremely error ridden) owner's manual. Any idea what it means?

Thanks!

Stalling:
Idle set high enough, like 1100-1200 rpm?
Revving enough to get off the line?
Mice nesting in air cleaner? No joke, sadly, speaking from experience.
Got gas? ;)

OK, enough for the simple stuff, others will have to take over from here.

Here's my Monster air cleaner last year (long story, for another thread sometime):

Can't help with the stalling but that small LED is probably an alarm on/off indicator light try tracing the wire it may go all the way to near the battery box or a seperate wiring loom.
I have a have a similiar feature that is now a cigerette lighter used for running other attachments.

You will not find in the owner's manual just because that led id not stock...
You have follow the wires to find out what's showing that led.
Ciao

ah. it not being stock could be a problem. Following wires it is.

And I think I've figured out the stalling thing. The bike has been on high idle this whole time. Which explains why I wasn't needed and throttle at all to move from a stop. I rode again today after letting the bike warm up a bit then moving it to reg idle and gave it just a little gas as I opened the clutch - No Problems. :D It was all me not knowing the bike fully yet.
