Ducati Paso Club Membership

Ducati has changed the way that they want to interact with the Ducati Paso Club members. In the past, we informed them of how many members we have and they would send a package of pins and patches to us to distribute. This year they would like you to sign up direct with them and receive these items direct from the factory. The sign up is very easy and once done, you will receive your swag direct.

See the info from Ducati below:
As in previous years all members of Ducati Official Clubs can now receive their Welcome Kit, set aside exclusively for 2009 club members.
Are you already a member of a Ducati Official Club and eager to receive the Welcome Kit?
Enter your data on the form you'll find by clicking at the end of this page and you’ll receive your D.O.C. Welcome Kit directly at home.
For any problem with on-line request in this page you have also the paper form. You can print, compile, sign and give it to your president who will provide to send us your request!
Being a member of an official club means you enjoy exclusive privileges and can participate in the multiplicity of events organised by the club and Ducati that are reserved for members: dinner parties with Ducati Corse riders in the hospitality area, discounts on DRE (the famous Ducati Riding Experience) and on the Ducati Desmo Challenge, Ducati’s very own mono-brand championship.
With your club you’ll also be able to visit - exclusively and free of charge – the Ducati Museum and factory, enjoy discounts on official products at the Factory Shop... and much much more.

Hi Jon -- the links in your post didn't work for me, but here's the one I used yesterday (thanks to Ted el Presidente at NEDOC.org --
http://www.ducati.com/news/09/news_club ... /kit.jhtml which led me to this:
http://club.ducati.com/_layouts/ducatic ... ister.aspx
Anyway I signed up yesterday, and got a confirming email
"Thanks for your request. the DOC welcome kit will be shipped to you or to the club headquarters in accordance to the choice of your club's president.'
I didn't see 907 or Paso in the drop-down
so I signed up with the M S4R, sorry.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, wouldn't be surprised haha.

You have to put the Paso in as "other"

I suppose I made the same error. I registered as a 900 Sport, instead of looking under "other", but did register under the Ducatipaso .org.
On another note, I took a 200 mile ride yesterday witht the charge light on the entire time, but it was charging 13.6 vdc at 4000 rpm the entire time. I guess I'll unplug the light, as I can't seem to find any other problem that could cause it to stay on. Oher than the light, it's doing great.

I am easily confused
When I clicked OTHER, then DUCATI disappeared. I guess I could have typed DUCATI 907 within OTHER, as if it were a brand other than Ducati.
Have Ducati erased Paso and 907 from their memory?
Sounds like a Paso Protest a-brewing ...

13,6V at 4000 rpm seem a little bit weak charge.
Try at 5000 rpm and check if the voltage raises.
Ciao

They kinda stopped with the mid 90's. I guess they had to make a cut off at some point.

Only 20 members have signed up so far!!!! Come on guys and girls, we need to make sure that the PASO is well represented. Ducati and this club won't abuse your info.

OK, signed up for this and two other clubs I'm a member of.
May I suggest an email is sent to all members? Some people only visit this site infrequently, and even if they do this thread is easily overlooked.

I have signed up but once again under my local club here.
I am a little disappointed that Ducati havent seen fit to include our marque in the list.

Ironic, though, that they list ducatipaso.org in the CLUB dropdown, but don't list Paso or 907 in the MODEL dropdown. Just one of those quirks that cause us to love Ducati, right? haha
