Not stock that I know of, but I put the same badge in the same place. Just looks like it should be there.

Cheers,

I would love to see pictures of the installed meccanicia badges. My brother in law recently gave me a mecannicia badge and I have been trying to decide what to do with it.

The Badge was produced by MURAYAMA co. in Tokyo.
They were the importers of Ducatis into Japan at the time.
The badge will have an M on it as well. I am assuming your sport was imported from Japan.
You may even have the same M on your fairings.

cheers Sean

Nice badge on a bike, or a good belt buckle.
That sure is a lot classier than a simple sticker that a lot of other importers or shops put on.

Guys all my Dukes come from Japan.
I lived there for 20 years so what Ive got invariably has one of those badges as Im not interested in anything post 1992.
Murayama the company had sole import rights for many years I think until around 1991 (dont quote me) and while they didnt put the badges on the 750 F1 series, maybe the sports didnt sell so well so they had to find a "charm point" as they say. :)

Anyway I have a few of those badges (to go with the bikes) and I think they are lovely

cheers

Sean
