Cambelt Maintenance overdone?

Exactly 3 years ago I changed the cambelts.
Since then the bike bearely run.
Now I 've sold it at the Dealer for a new Ducati.
It will be delivered this month!
But I just couldn't resist riding riding the Paso at these beautifull days in and around Amsterdam.
The cambelt thing feels not good so I bought new ones. Next weekend I put them on the bike.
Is this overdone? Should I return the Paso in without a cambelt change?
Who got the knowlegde (may the force be with you)...

You are going to do the right thing.
Why do risk to damage valves etc.?

what doesn`t feel good ?
If the bike is running and the dealer already said he`ll take it you could give him the bike and the belts also. I guess he would change them anyway before reselling it.
Of course it`s nice for him and your conscience if you do it before selling the bike, but on the other side there`s Murphy`s law...

Ok, I don't want to upset anyone on this fantastic Forum.
That's why I still follow some self censored rules:
- No pornographic pictures, but only beautiful girls on beautiful Ducati's.
- Only posting in Topics from people I know who like this
But then again I'm from Amsterdam, I found out that some things I find normal In other parts of the World and also the Netherlands are not so normal.
So, please notify me when I'm doing something wrong.
It's absolutely not my intention to insult people.
I apologize If I have done so.
But keep on with the good stuff of life:
- Ducati Bike +
- Nice girls

I'm wondering Mr. G has still not told anything about...
I`m with Roy. It`s fine for me as long as it`s not pornographic. That simply wouldn`t belong here.
I like what I see here
