I have noticed that some of you are from Germany, do you know any places
where I can get some parts? I wanna get clutch plates nr 19020051A,
my friend lives in Juelich (near Aachen and Koeln) and could take it for me...

thanks,
greg

The 19020051A is a clutch pack for wet clutch M600, M750 til 97. Check here to see the difference to the dry clutch Paso clutch.

190 200 22A (formerly 190 200 21A) is the correct pack for: 750 Sport ´88 - 90 / 750 SS ´91 / 900 SS ´89 -´90 ...

yep, we have some "dealers" here,
for example yestarday one of them wanted to convince me
that Ducati didnt manufacture 750cc in `90 :)

and I have to wait 3-5 weeks to get the clutch, the price is about 130Euro
while I can get one from USA for 100$ (inluding shipping)

so... its wilde west here ;)

Hi Jon,

no, it isn`t. See my second post.
The two Daves had posted that they are using the 51A clutch pack. I don`t know if the pack has the same height. It`s 35,5mm. All newer Ducs with dry clutch have a pack with 38,5mm height. I don`t know the height of the original Paso clutch pack, couldn`t find that info anywhere.
Are the pads on clutch discs for dry clutch the same material as for wet clutches ?!
Many things I don`t know, but I do know the part number is not the correct one.

G.

EDIT: after looking again it seems the 750SS 91-95 with wet clutch use the 22A, too. (the number of discs is the same as on the Paso, but do the steel discs of the Paso have a different thickness, the parts catalogue doesn`t show different part numbers ?! I guess for final confirmation one should ask a Duc dealer)
http://www.desmorados.com/shop/catalog/ ... 20022A.pdf
According to some Cagiva Elephant forums the 22A is also used on those bikes (and the engines are the same 750 or 900cc w/ dry clutch as used on the early SS or Paso).

last EDIT: as mentioned the 51A is 35,5mm thick. Dave noted in one post that he had to remove one friction and one steel plate to fit it. As the 22A is 33,2mm it explains why he had to do that.
Sorry for the monologue, had to prove it to myself. 190.200.22A is the one to get.

I fitted the 51A and have had no problems with it the friction plates look to have the same material as the paso plates have and the steel plates look the same thickness i removed 1 friction and 1 steel only because i mistakenly installed all the plates that came in the kit and the kit has 2 more plates than my 750 paso had, since then the clutch has worked as it should. i am not suggesting that this 51A kit is the correct kit for a paso but my dealer said he could not get the original clutch kit anymore so he cross referenced the ducati parts list and found that this 51A kit will work in the paso clutch so i went ahead and bought it and as i have said i've no problems with it it works good and that got me back on the road again which is what i wanted. by all means if you can get the correct kit then thats the way to go.
Dave.

I received a call from Ducati Germany today after I had asked them for confirmation of the clutch pack part number and they confirmed what I had posted before.
It`s 190 200 22A (it officially replaced 190 200 21A)

hello,

I got new clutch pack nr 19020051A (from USA, thanks to Jon :) )
but I`m a little bit confused:

http://www.desmorados.com/shop/catalog/ ... 20051A.pdf
I`v got the same stuff as in this picture,

8 friction plates, 8 plain plates and 1 "one-side" friction plate (BELAGSCHEIBE ;)

Gerhard is writing that 51A is 35,5mm thick, but it seems to be 35,1.
anyway...
in my Paso I had 7 plain plates, 6 friction plates and one belagscheibe
(2 of plain plates have different thickness)

so I put 7 plain, 6 friction and 1 "one-side" friction plate as well.
(starting from plain, and ending with "one-side")

can you confirm that it`s correct?

clutch nr 22A (that is said to be correct kit) is 33,2mm
maybe I`m bad in math :) but I cannot get this thickness from 51A in any way..
