I finally found a way to mount an old video camera to my Paso and took some 7 minutes of video today. The sound is all but wind roar but you can hear the engine at low speed. Enjoy.

Nice video, pity for the soudtrack.

Still a few more mph to come out of that road, don't know it like the back of my hand yet. If I got a new dedicated motorsport camera kit then there wouldn't be much to touch the video but I am reluctant to because it would be used a few times and put back into its box. As for the sound I think the best thing to do is cover the mic' so that only low frequency sounds are picked up for the next video. I hope to go on a local 'Ducatisti' ride this summer so you can bet on some footage from it.

Another way is to drive the same road again with camera under the seat and use that sound track with the video track together. Needs eg Windows Movie Maker, which comes with Windows computers. Would need close to same speed, so when you joined together the rpm on corners was timed right - likely need to adjust still a little at editing.

Might try it myself to see if it really is a good idea.
