I have enough problems keeping track on this site at the mo' so keeping up with folk on Facebook can be a equally awkward however how many out thereon here are on this link

Me too , I think at least with this site, the crowd have a common theme ,and thats about as far as we should take it , IMHO the world of cybercrap should take a back seat to good old fashioned civil dealings that encourage learning, (heaps of knowledge freely given here!) Some of these Facecrook sites only allow personal expression of the me,me ,me,me theme. Fun for a while, but it lacks substance. Its basically for people without bikes, (poor buggers). It dispels loneliness, until you turn off the computer . These sites are BS to the max!.....Marty

I was finally convinced just prior to my 20th high school reunion ... and then they really came out of the woodwork. I was resistant at first too ... but I've found friends from grade school, people I'd lost touch with ... it's a pretty potent tool

I never jumped on the MySpace bandwagon and I probably won't get into the Facebook or Twitter craze, either. I've had my own website since 1997, so I figure if anyone is interested in me and what I'm into, they can just go to my website.

I begrudgingly did facebook earlier this year at my wife's request [highschool and college friends asking] so I did it and it's actually been a real kick. Lots of folks I've not talked to in years, and Nicola gets to see what I do on a daily basis!

I think it is idle chatter. I do have an account, but do not use it much. But I have had people from the past us it to contact me, so I guess it fulfills a purpose. But getting on every day and posting nonsense is not for me.

I'm actually on Facebook, now. My mother posted some pictures on her page and the only way to view them was to join. I can't get to Facebook from work, but you should be able to find me ("Terry Boling").
