Anyone out there care to act as a middle-man and purchase a part for me and ship to Australia?
Bit of a pain I know, but would be very appreciated.

No mate, missed out on it.
He wouldnt sell it to me because it was too much trouble to stick it in a box and send to Australia.
Thanks anyway.

The last seat I shipped out of the country was to New Zealand and it cost about $80 USD, and that was before they started hiking the prices up. Originally the price was over $100, so I cut the box and made it a much tighter fit for the seat in the box to get the dimensions smaller. I just shipped three frame rubber pieces (the rubber parts on the frame to keep the fairings from rubbing). The box was very light and shipping to Gerhard in Germany was $25. I'd hate to image what the shipping costs would be for a seat, these days.

Thanks for the advice Demon, but at the price the seat was going for, the shipping cost would still have made it cheaper to get it here than buying a new one. At nearly $400Aus for a new one, $50US plus shipping would have been well worth it.
But, Such is Life.

The shipping costs often are a mistery.
No matter, I'm waiting for a couple of Contis from Australia

.
Cheap the Contis and cheap the sea shipment (I'm not in hurry)

.
Ciao

Ahhhh, yes, the Conti's, I saw them on Ebay here and was going to bid myself...but still,,,,like the sound from the Termi's.
If you need any help geting things from Aus', let me know.

I get pair of new Contis from Australia 8 / 2005 and that time shipping was 81€ to Finland and i had to pay 110€ tolls and taxes from them, as they came outside to EU area. ......not cheap hobby, but marvelous sound...

Conti's are nice,They all are nice, but you just can't beat the music that comes from the weber/rennsport/ducati concerto. Sort of a combo of Muscle and Porsche with just a hint of Italian flair.
It is trully Love at first sound. Shame more folks can't share it,those who have heard it all agree,It rocks the Paso world.
