Those 999 radial brake and clutch units look super, a much better idea than reconditioning the original brembo items. What is the clearance between the fairing at full steering lock? this is one thing I would want to know before such a conversion.

Hi JWilliam,
for this trasformation I have not touch never of the original 907.
I have bought the radial Brembo and I have mounth on the 907 as is.
This evening I will put the pics of particular with the clearance.
Is a very good conversion.
I have bought on ebay at low cost!!!

I also bought the same master cylinders (from a 999) for my red 907.
The odd thing is that my mechanic told me the clutch master cylinder couldn't be fitted on 907.....
So, now I only have the brake radial master cylinder.
But, I have to say the braking is great now, at least
Ciao

907IE have had GREAT brakes allways compared to 750/906 twin piston old Brembos !!!
What is that "hole" in front fairing???
That red 750 seat looks very good in 907IE..... i have to move such from my 750 paso to my 907IE...
How much those brake masters coast in Ebay currently?

Hi all.
for JWilliam,
this is the distance between fairing cover and Brembo items.
for persempre907,
yes...the clutch master cylinder could be fitted on 907 (unica cosa devi omettere il comando dell'aria, io l'ho lasciato ma รจ solo estetica, non l'ho mai usato)
you put of course on your 907!!! and put the Clutch Slave Cylinder 30mm...
Brembo plus Clutch Slave Cylinder 30mm amazing soft clutch!!!
for Finnpaso,
I bought last year the 907 in this condition...I don't like this hole...I like the original fairing.
I bought a new fairing origina but red paint is different...this winter i will paint in the same colour...

I paid the Brembo euro 80,00 the brake used and (incredible) euro 26,00 the clutch used.
the Slave Cylinder 30mm new euro 100,00.

I can confirm.
No clearance problems to fit the radial master cylinder.
And great improvement of the braking!!!

that bike, all in red is really nice! Call me extremely picky but the only thing I`m not sure about are the mufflers. They are silk black while triple clamp and rear grab handle are glossy black. I would change that to match, too.

The spare mufflers I have are silk black, too.
They can be easily polished, even if they are ugly polished, too.
A nice bike needs some nice Contis or so...

Looks, that pipes are originals from 91* 907IE, but only painted again with matt black...
Master cylinders were quite cheap....
I have 30mm STM clutch slave in my ST2, but i think, 28mm would be better, as then no need to pull lever so much. 30mm dont need so much power(from fingers), but it have to pull more (distance)....

Hi all...
my muffler are original Ducati but I have painted in silk black.
...persempre907...I would like to put new exhausts as Contis (I like 2x1) but they aren't homologated...and near my house there is too much Police and they are very bastards!!!
Finnpaso in the new STM clutch there was one cilinder of some millimeter to be put inside...
CiaooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

You're right,
I have the 2in1 Conti on my red 907 and the stock mufflers (aluminium covered) on my black 907.
Really, the Conti has a gorgeous sound even if loud.
No matter, I always try to avoid any noise problem in the downtown riding at low RPMs.
Luckily, so far, I have never had any problem with the policemen.
But, above all, I fear the insurance which, in case of accident, would be happy to contest a non approved part of the bike to refuse or reduce the insurance cover...
Ciao

Nice looking bike - would be further enhance by an AGIP sticker (decal) on either side of the fairing!
Thanks for the pics.

If you give up that rear fork, the price would be lower and easier to do (no modification to the engine's cases).
Marchesini wheels are easily available, the front fork is harder.
You want take the rear footrests away. Where would you fix the mufflers?
No matter, she looks great!
In bocca al lupo
