Holy Smokes!!! Just how much HP does your Paso put out?!!!!!

I hope it didn't do too much damage to the other components if you are opting to rebuild it.

no rebuild for the 87 it was going to cost to much and take to long :,( thats why i bought the white 88  and now enough spares to last a lifetime unless i brake something twice :banghead: .i think the 87 had hot cams and it would pull 210ks like it should the 88 is pushing to get past 180 but that might jus be me having trouble while my legs flail around behind me {at least it feels like it}lucky to have two i think and have already robbed the pipes /oilcoolers/oil sight glass

rebuild the old one. Gearboxes show up on ebay once in a while and oilcoolers plus lines, too. As you have the 88 now you have time to wait for the occasion.
Did anyone count how many Pasos were parted out this year ?! Quite a few...

I try not to keep track...

I got an offer to buy a bunch of Paso parts the other day. I just don't have any money or storage space. I haven't seen all the parts, but he claims to have at least two engines, several tanks, many different body panels, at least one two frames, and a whole bunch of other parts. He's tired of the parts taking up space and is hoping to unload all the parts at one time. I told him I may be interested in March when I get my tax refunds, but I think my wife will kill me. We simply don't have the space. If the price is right, I'm sure I could get all my money back. The last time I bought a bunch of Paso parts, I doubled my money, kept the parts I needed (at no cost to me), and I still have a few spare parts that I can sell.....I just hate the guy parted the bike. At least one other forum member benefitted, though, he bought the engine and some other parts from that bike.

Yes, he does, and he's a pleasure to do business with. Ed is also a member on this forum, although not extremely active.
