Anyone fitted frame sliders on their Paso?
If you have I would love to see some photos of where exactly you've attached them to the frame and hence which part of the fairing you had to the cut holes out.

Judging by the lack of response after over 60 views to my question
I've surmised that none of us are willing to cut holes in our Pasos

Are You?
Could you make a plate attached to the frame, so the slider bolts through one of the current bolt holes where the fairings are currently attached by the well nuts?
You would have to work out where it would rub by laying it over.

Its my understanding that the sliders need to be bolted directly to the frame and they only come
out so far plus being about the same size as a skateboard wheel its looking like a job for a hole saw.
I thinking that if they are attached to a plate that is bolted to the frame they might just fold over thus
defeating their purpose. Plus the bolts used to mount them are fairly thick.
So that is why I'm hoping someone has already successfully crossed the river on this one.
Thanks for the response

Under body sliders work far better unless you are looking just to protect the body in the case of a parking lot tip over. Through body sliders will catch in the dirt if the bike low sides at a decent rate of speed and slides off the road, once the sliders dig in the bike may well start flipping causing way more damage than no sliders at all.
Here's the ones I use on my SS

Hey 21783Mike - you posted a response to my question concerning using sliders and the link you provided doesn't seem to work - granted it took me until just today to realize you had posted a response.
Here is the part of your posting with the link:

The problem is the risk of doing it !
1. you have to cut holes in body work
2. If you bolt to the frame and the bike goes down you porbably save the bodywork but qwreck the frame.
3. if you bolt to a hradpoint in the frame like and enging mount is it in the right place ? - if not will it just tip the bike over when its sliding and therefor put the tank on the ground etc.
4. Fancy testing it after you've done it ?
I did look at this about ten yeasr ago (I have a spare set of OE bodywork to play with) but just couldn't answer most of the questions above. Havign also seen the effects of some cheaper sliders I can say that point 2 is particularly relevant
