907 forks

Hi Guys

I have been lucky to pickup a 907 with damaged forks I have a set of 906 folks that i was hoping to fit to complete the bike,I am aware that the 907 forks are 10 longer than the 906 folks I believe this is to accomodate the larger 17" wheels just wondering if there is any issues with using the 906 folks.

Since the 906 uses smaller discs & different calipers,
I think that is a problem w 906 forks on a 907.

for that there are adapters.
Are the fork diameters the same ?

Lofty,
I am in need of one good 907 stancion tube, and have some 906/750 fork tube to trade. Are your forks straight and not pitted? For some strange reason, One of my stancion tubes has lots of rust spots, and the other one has none. Maybe the way it was stored once.
