750SS clutch questions

I'll be replacing the clutch dics/plates on my 1993 750SS, it only has 6K miles but I recently put Mobil1 car oil in it and the discs glazed, now it slips at heavy loads and WOT.
So this'll be my first wet clutch.

1. Once I open it and remove the old plates and discs what can I use to clean out and any oil residue? Carb cleaner, brake cleaner, degreaser?
2. Since the bike sees no track I'm thinking on going with OEM Ducati plates and discs, any pros/cons, suggestions?

Like said this'll be the first time I do a wet clutch and even though I feel pretty confident any tips and warnings will be greatly appreciated.
Since it is a fairly low mileage bike I am not planning on changing any other components (bearing, basket, pressure plate, ect.) just the plates, discs and springs.

Thanks!!

You can probably save yourself the clutch work by just changing your oil to motorcycle oil. Mobil 1 will do that to your clutch. I'm assuming you put in Mobil 1 engine oil.

Cheers,

Clean it with soap and water. don't use any chemicals and let it air dry. Don't use compressed air.
