Got some info about the Öhlins shock f a 750 Paso fr horses mouth (Öhlins, Sweden).

Original 42Nm, +90kg rider 45Nm.
Spring should have 25mm preload.

I`ve ridden a 750 w original, restored Öhlins.
Seemed soft but worked really OK.

My question,
why the soft spring?
Is the linkage on a Paso so special?
All other springs is about 90-110NM, on Hyper Ducs round 70 :?:

Wondering cause I`ve bought a Penske f a 750Paso.

I am wondering same thing every time i push down my 750 Paso grab handle in my garage, as its much softer compared to 907IE original Marzhocci unit... I feel also very comfortable that Öhlins in my 750 Paso, but i drive it alone allways without so much weight(i am about 78Kg's) and with my 907IE i carry near allways 2 sidebags with full of stuff and it feels also good with Marzhocci Duo remoto unit... I have installed Öhlins(from 750 Paso) to my one 907IE, but havent tested yet, sorry. As i know, all rear linkages are same in 750 Paso and 907IE :) At least they look identical, but havent check from microfilm!

I believe 9.0kg/mm is standard on the 907.
