907 belts

I just bought belts for my '92 907 from the dealer, who gave me a superseed part number. Before I take it apart can some one tell me if it takes a round or square tooth belt.

906 & 907ie have round tooth belts while the P750 uses square tooth belts.

Take a look at this picture from my 1992 907. Looks like they are round to me.

yes, they are. You can see that the belt pulleys are for round profile belts. too.

only Pantah based and those derivates have square toothed belts.
851 based and later (incl. 906 and 907) have round toothed.
