93 907ie Happy in it's new home MKE WI

Just an update.... my 907 has found a new home, and it's new owner is really happy.... so is the bike.

THANKS for all your comments!!!!

I hate to do this, but I think the 907 has got to go.
This was pretty much my dream bike,,,,, but things have changes and ....

I am still trying to figuring out what is the best thing to do with this stunning Italian demso.

My local ad is going to be something like this:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
WELL MAINTAINED CLEAN STAINTUNE EXHAUST CORBIN SEAT, 30,000
Comfortable, with the great power and torque of the 904CC 2 valve DESMODROMIC DUACTI engine
with fuel injected, liquid cooled, Metz4 tires,
Excellent condition with near perfect paint and very fast!
This is the Paso model with the 17" wheels as standard.
The bike has never been down or sustained any damage and turns heads everywhere.
This is becoming a collectable bike and very few of these are still around in this condition.
Production numbers are only 730 total for the USA (185 were California spec) and a total 2303 were produced worldwide.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well maintained and adult ridden

Trying to work up pricing...... Right now all I know is that I paid 4500 in 2007. plus maintenance and service. I see this same bike currently selling anywhere from ~2800-6000. I would like to find a happy medium and a happy home for my favorite thumper.

Thanks for allowing me to participate in this forum.
I will be checking in on this forum website for any input or responses anyone may care to contribute.

Cheers!!!

Not to bust your bubble, saw one go for 1200 not too long ago
Corbin is a plus, service records would also be a big plus, also the fact that you have taken good care is a big plus
I personally have not seen one go for anything above 4k here in the US if the mileage is more than 10,000.
Collectable? Someday maybe in 10 or 15 years.
Best of luck to you, you'll miss her once she's gone :,(

It may help to sell if you mention in your add that this bike is the Paso with the 17" wheels as standard.

Thanks for your feedback guys!

About a year ago I toyed with the idea of using this bike as my daily runner instead of a Sunday/ Special Event Bike.
I guess that I'm beginning to think that way again.

I just lost my regional local service in Saukville, and the next nearest certified guy is madtown or chitown
and I don't really feel qualified to be doing the work.

Maybe I'll learn with the first few panics eh???

I'm still open to finding someone whose (nuts) ---- I mean as nuts about the bike as I was. It really is a sweet ride.

Cheers!

Thanks for the location info. Guess I wasn't looking in the right place. What can you tell us about the service history? I'm especially interested in when the last time the belts were replaced and the valves were adjusted.....

Thanks,

Well I guess it will be my choice to ride one of the most unique rides in the city for now. If I can find the right buyer.... it is available.

However, it does seem that my price range is is just not popular. I am fortunate that I do not HAVE to sell (right now at least), so for the time being, this is going to be my daily sunday bike!!!!
