1988 Paso swingarm alloy

Hi to all,
Does anyone know what alloy Ducati used on the swingarm?
I am going to modify it to accept a larger tire. I will post results as I progress.

Yeah , I'm pretty sure its an aluminium alloy :P You could always ask fredskidoo, he has already modified his for "sprocket clearance" :lol:
There are ways to fit available tyres to your paso without chopping the swing arm, have a look at some of the recent posts .

A very common aluminum alloy for extrusion is 6061. Other alloys can be extruded, but the range is rather small. I would have to assume that since the Paso was in small production numbers, and made as a production bike, that they chose a very common alloy.
