Here are a few pictures of a paint job I got done custom along the Mississippi River. I'll be posting photos of one of my other bikes with an 'Infected Mushroom' paint job, so stay tuned for those.

Nice paintwork, quite a masterpiece, even if I don't love such kind on a Paso.
Ciao

A bit "extreme"
Does Paso need to be more "visible"?

Beautifully done! The Paso makes a perfect canvas for creative concepts like this, i think. Assuming airbrushing, and given its hard to see the quality of the paint work (dry areas, fish eyes, fine bits of dust in the finish, i'd guess 40 hrs pro labor @ $80 & $300 materials for around $3500 usd?

What a dilema , on one hand I can see that a helliva lot of time effort and money has gone into this and it looks great, but on the other ...... I think that paint job would be better on an american made bike . If I was going to go to that much trouble I would have had an Itallian theme , but it is a really nice paint job , cheers for sharing

Yes I agree, An Italian scheme would be more suitable, still it is a very nice job.Something to be admired. Very skillfully crafted. I am sure it turns heads wherever it goes
Nothing said here should detract one iota from the pride of owning such a fine example of a Paso !

Thanks! This 907 is in Minnesota.
Do you still see many Paso's in California?

Thank You Very Much.
I was kind of bored I guess, it was either this or some kind of flame design...
I already have a fairly stock red 907, and this one was red as well, so I just wanted to try something different. My buddy in Wisconsin is very talented with fabrication, welding, all types of plastic, fiberglass and metal repair and he can do this kind of paintwork. He is a real artist. He is pretty famous for airbrushing hockey helmets, his work is pretty incredable. My part is only appreciating his work, and paying him.

Your estimate is very accurate, you must have experience with this kind of painting to be so accurate! But the work is flawless, I'm happy with it.
In fact, I had another tank and body work set, and I had him paint this in an "Infected Mushroom" (album cover style) paint job... and it's in a kind of very bad-trip mental damage kind of presentation, but its great. I am a little ill about the 907, I think it was a moment of crystal clear perfection for Ducati, if I could afford to, I would have 10 of these. A 20 year old design, and I still sit in a chair in the garage and stare at this shape for two hours and wonder how they did it. The tail light, and the rear end of this bike. No other bike speaks to me like this. Now having said that, the front end, especially the headlight and boxy width of the head light 'upper' fairing could stand an update (I think). I want to fabricate and powdercoat an updated fairing stay, and graft in a little longer, little more pointed dual light setup to the existing lower side fairings....I think if it was done right, and not too much of a jump, it would (well, might) work...
