Here are some pictures of my other paint job. It is based on the album artwork called "IM the Supervisor" by Infected Mushroom. The pictures were not taken professionally, i haven't had that done yet. So, I'm just posting these for some feedback. Up close it is really quite beautiful, if a little sinister.

...but, you'd have to employ the canvas too... or perhaps some Japanese bike...

Generally, custom paint jobs really aren't my thing. But looking at both of these bikes really opened my eyes - I can see that just by the very nature and extent of the bodywork these bikes are blank canvasses!

Both really nice...they may make me think a lot more out of the box when I paint mine.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi!

On one picture I saw a red one with H&B carriers. Though I would like to use my Aluboxes on my 907 (SICK :banghead: ) I would like tho know how the bike looks with the carriers (without boxes)- is it "acceptable". Could you please post a foto?

PS I am looking for the H&B carriers- anyone wants to get rid of them?

So long

Admire craftsmanship, not to keen on motif.
Yep, boring old fart...

Any chip or other injection alterations?
standard cams to maintain tach drive,
I do not follow your thoughts,
I have 900 SSie cams on mine w/o tach troubles?

Thats the other red, mostly stock 907.. I ordered the H&B carriers a couple years ago and it was about 4 months wait as (I think) the assembly had to be made in Germany. They (or it) fit perfectly and came with all the nuts and bolts and spacers and required no adjustment.
The reason I appreciate this is I installed the same companys carriers on my 94 Elefant, and this was very difficult, poor instructions, but I was never satisfied with the fit, and the bags are not straight wien attached (to the Elefant). On the 907, they fit and look great when the bags are off. The 907 verson also has a nice rear rack standard, I reccomened this for the Paso. But sorry I have no pictures of the red one, and am in China for a couple months.

Hi,
What I did with the engine was remove it (with 20,000 miles on it) and set it under the bench in the garage. Then bought a 30,000 mile engine off ebay from New York, had it trucked to St Paul Minn, and a very able shop changed bearings, rods, bored, overhauled heads and ported (slightly), and yes remaped to compensate for air increase, and more start (cranking) fuel (cause it's minnesota/chilly). The thing with the cams is...most everybody says the ST2 cams are the way to go, but I don't think the front cam has the mechanical tach spiral drive, but I'm not sure. But I know I'd be too freaked out trying to fit an electric tach into the paso dash unit. It would have been a lot cheaper to just install an ST2 eng from ebay, and deal with the tach issues. The flag bike and nushroom bike are the same bike with two sets of laundry....I sand blasted the swing arm, and clear coated it cause I could never get the battery acid damage polished out. Anyay the 944 hop up is very noticable over stock.

You know,
Now that I look at it again, it looks like I hit a very overfed pidgen with the front screen...

Drive gear f tach on cam fits any cam, like mine fr SSie.

ST2 heads fit but you need to bore a tunnel f tach drive gear (I`ve dunnit).

ST2 engine would require lotsa wiring problems due to
other ECU, instr board and more.

Have you Dynoed it?

Also ST2 have only 1 pick-up and 907 have 2.

ok, I voted no. The bike is very nice and clean and although I like alternative colour schemes or mild graphics I don`t like any kind of fantasy motives. Airbrushes of magicians, unicorns, skulls or any kind of nature scenes or animals are for streetfighters or tourers and I don`t like them even there.
I`ve got mixed feelings for the flag bike, that reminded me of Evel Knievel or the Easy Rider chopper the first time I saw it. Increadibly well done though, so realistic. I do really appreciate this kind of love to detail and perfection.

Btw. if you need the knob for the forks rebound adjuster englishstiv may be able to help.

I'll tell you what I appreciate...I appreciate your opinion.
Like I mentioned I have a red one, and I have bought so many spare parts from ebay I thought I'd just put them to occaisional use on the second one. And, to answer your dyno question..no, never had it dyno'ed. I so rarely use full power (for more than a few seconds) not sure I'd know what to do with much more power. I really like the torque and sound..but frankly, there isn't enough more of either to really justify the expence. You have to do it because you love it, not for any logical reason. And Thank You for the referance on the rebound adjuster knob. I had completely given up on that.
