My 88 750 is using more oil than I believe it should. After removing all of the body work I noticed that there appears to be an oil leak coming from the head/cylinder joint on the front cylinder. After looking in the manuals it appears that there is NOT a cylinder head gasket. Is this true? I'm a little surprised by this. There appears to be only two o-rings.
Has anyone else esperienced this problem? To remove the front cylinder head, do I need to remove the motor from the chassis?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug
Front Cylinder oil leak
Hello Pope.
To remove the front butt is not necessary remove the engine. The operation of dismounting is not complicated but if you do not have a lot of experience in this type of engine the better thing that they you solve a person with experience.
The problem that you have, I am thinking, it is some of the socket-pans of rubber, these estaran punctured by the age.
