I was clearing out my garage last week (I'm selling my house) and had to pack the silencers that came as spares with my 750 Paso. I was told that they were the originals (it currently has a local brand of silencer in it). I was wondering if these really are the originals. They look exactly like the silencers in all the adverts.

The following is what is stamped in to them.

Ducati 573 1003 1A

BREVETTI Silentium

This product is designed for use on closed course competition motorcycles only and does not conform to EPA noise emission standards.

The reason for asking is that I doubt Ducati could sell a bike with a silencer that says it's not for the road.

Thanks

Do you still have the silencers ? If they are in new condition, I am willing to buy them from you.

My 750 Paso came to Finland with those open Silentiums, where i can read just those words, but those times they didnt check those things here, so those are "legal" here, cause they are not too open ones, no mater, what there reads.... Btw, they have made at least 3 different pipes to 750 Paso. I have seen all those 3 different pipes. Most important is to measure header and output hole diameters!

If they are those open ones with big inside hole diameter(about 40mm), KEEP them !!!!
