FWIW: I'm adapting a pair of Range Rover ('03 - up) side markers as a replacement for my front turn signals. Will take some cutting/drilling in the fairing, but will definitely look better than those elephant ears!

sidemarkers can`t be seen well from the front. I`d rather go for some small turn signals. There are some small ones with LED or normal bulb which still make a lot of light.
I had these from Kellermann on my Gilera

A. I will be installing them on the curved forward-facing part of the fairing, not in the stock location.
B. Who pays attention to motorcycle turn signals anyway? Not the drivers around here...

unluckily that seems to be the same all over the world. Actually a reason to mount the biggest and strongest turn signals one could find

(... I know. I wouldn`t do that either)
