Could you buy the ones where the side cover fits in the tank?
I guess there are some where the tank is attached to the frame under the saddle,
what do they look like, anyone`s got a pic?

The ones on the side of the tank where the side covers fit are quite different from the ones where the tank mounts to the frame under the seat. Do you need measurements of these? Which ones?

I've bought them some time ago.
They would be still available, the same ones are mounted on the SS series, too.
Ask them at your local dealer.
Ciao

I used regular electrical gromlets sized just large enough so that when you squeeze them down a little they fit in the elongated opening. I then used hard rubber washers that are tappered or cone shaped that are normally used on outside faucets. The tappered washers twisted right onto the studs of the cover. They would then fit inside the rubber gromlet on the tank and because of the tapper, would self center themselves. I'll make some pictures and post them.
The rubber gromlets where the tank bolts to the frame also have a metal spacer in the middle that keeps you from tighten the bolt to much compressing the rubber gromlet. They remined me a little of the old shock gromlets that many auto manuf. use to use with shocks that had the straight stud coming out of the top of the shock.
