Hi Guys
I'm wanting to repaint the fairing and repair the odd crack, was thinking about media blasting not sure of the compound make up, was wondering about the best option other than rubbing it down.
Any help would be great
Also got a hold of ITALSPARES email
iangowanloch@bigpond.com tells me he has about 200 complete dashboards Au $125.00
Bought one myself havnt seen it yet but he's charge my credit card, so i'm hoping

Mate, I wouldn't worry about Gowies'. They do what they say. I have never had a part I have ordered from them go missing yet and they have always been first class at that.
As for the cleanup of your plastics, I will be looking forward to any responses you have on that question.

I fully agree about Gowanlock.
I bought a couple of Conti mufflers (I'm in Italy and they came from Australia...) and I got no trouble at all.
About the painting of the fairing, I haven't the skill to give you any advice.
I'll bring mine soon to a good craftsman.
Ciao

At least on the P750 the headlight and the front side fairings are glassfibre. I`m not sure about the rear side fairings but I repaired some cracks with glassfibre, too. The taillight fairing and the side scoops are (soft) plastic, the frontscreen of the 907ie may be, too. (the front screen spoiler most definetely)
I`d personally sand the parts for painting. Mediablasting will leave a rough surface.
Blazing928 did mediablast his fairing.

the dashboard cover is inexistant. It`s like the taillight. You may find the whole unit but not the cover only.

Even if not important note that although P750 and 906/907ie instrument panels look identical the range of the temp gauge is different. Of course you can still use both. (I don`t know what they are selling)

Hi GUYS
Dashboard turned up yesterday all good
For what it is worth I picked up a brand new pair of M1R forks for the 907 included was some internals and tops and bottoms all most complete.
Good guy to deal with, you will need part numbers Not sure what else he has as most of the parts were found out the back in a container, so he tells me
I'm aware he has new tubes and for sure the odd bottoms as he sent me the wrong ones to start with
The contact was road and race in Aus
Does Any one have the colours for the fairing, red, Green and white was thinking about, the bike being red or a Tri colour for something different.
Cheers Peter
