1987 Paso signed by Peter Bollenbach for sale

This is signed by Peter Bollenbach of Bollenbach engineering. This firm from what I have researched used to sell Ducati's in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. They would tune up a few of these for people wanting to race and sell them off. Motorcycle is in rough shape. looks like a sight layover on left side, mostly cosmetic which might be why the fairings are missing. Engine runs, Wet chutch: Master or slave cylinder needs to rebuilt or bled, Brembo brakes, missing lower front fairings on both left and right hand side. NCR Pipe and exhaust. Bike was bought by a friend of mine who willed it to me after he figured out that he could not do the rebuild work. This is either a parts bike or a great project for someone who loves these bikes. email for pics aaronatkins@yahoo.com, 1500 OBO, located in Chicago, transport within 100 miles included.

knowing and loving this bike for many years although I`m on the other part of the world - seeing it like this now makes me really sad. Someone adopt it! With the nice wheels, brakes, paint, fork etc it would be a sin to destroy this one.

Mine is painted on the fairing but it looks somewhat faded- I believe it's painted , will take a pic of it...not sure if I recall seeing one on the tail, will check.

either it did not go to a good home or there is more than one identical - which I hope - as parts have now shown up on ebay. Seat, rear fairing parts and brake discs definetely show it`s from that bike.

How can such a bike be parted out ?!
Saddens me :(
