Steering Head Races, size of cups?

Hello again,
In my quest to fit USD forks from a SSie Ive hit a snag. I've just got a monster bottom yoke,believing it to fit straight into the 907, but its bigger, SDF! The 907 stem is 25mm, the monster 26mm. No problem if the column is the same as SS, just run SSie bearings, or trawl bearing catalogues to find the correct size, but my 907 is in regular use so I'm unable to measure the taper cup o.s. diameter, anyone know what it is please. that means your 907 stem is turned down from 26 to 25 to adapt a regular bearing. out side is 52 mm, which is also a standard size. 26 mm stems are a strange kind of protecting the market and are only obtainable by specialized stores.

Steering head bearing (2x)
id* 25mm od* 47mm width 15mm
SKF 32005-X/Q or
TIMKEN 32005X-90KA1 (inner bearing: XAA32005X, outer ring: YAA32005X) or

During my winter maintenance I found the steering head bearings had a lot of notchiness when going thru lock to lock of the bars.
Previous forum posts have been a great help, and I thought I’d post up some current info on what I’ve learned so far.
1st up is the replacement o-ring for the groove in the collar referred to as the “Distance Piece” in the parts manual.
I bought a pack of 10 from US industrial supplier McMaster-Carr, PN 1295N253
The cost was about $7.00 + shipping.

I ordered the bearings and seals from the supplier Applied Industrial Technologies. It took about a week for them to come in.
The attached picture has all the info, I’ll say bearing prices have gone up a lot. I was a walk up customer and I don’t have any connections to get a discount. But if you need them, ya gotta pay, and I’m ok with paying for quality parts.
