nice one, but a) how can you transport a freshly restored bike in winter without covering it right from the start and b) then even ride it while there`s most likely gravel and salt on the road ?

yeah good bikes those nortons. i had the pleasure of riding one all over the desert state of western australia for ten months. an 850 interstate mk II. FANTASTIC. only fault was the small tank. three hundred miles between petrol stations in some of the more remote corners!  :)

I have a friend doing up his 74 mk2a now. It took more than a few rides on the 907 to get him motivated. Few more weekends and it will be ready to ride  Been 15 years since it last breathed the air :banghead:

I agree. That's a great bike.
But, unfortunately... I love too much bikes.... (Ducati 916 & 888, MV F4 & Brutale, most of Laverdas as SF, SFC, 1000 etc., many Guzzis....).
We can't have got all we desire.... :,( :,( :,( :,( :,( :,( :,( :,(

Had a shot at a Jota this time last year. Guy wanted 7k,I hesitated cuz it had some parts from a special,by the time i decided I could get the proper parts it was off to Australia like most of the Laverda's offered up for sale these days. You Aussies really need to learn to share
