Hi Guys
I'm having trouble removing the main swing arm bolt that is located through the rare of the motor
Have removed the nut and was hoping to give her some gental force mainly with the hammer, but no go
was maybe thinking something else is holding the bolt from sliding out
I'm a beginner guys so take it easy
Thanks for any replies

Did you remove the wheel and the bottom bolt of the shock before ?
Behind the swingarm pivot nut there`s a washer. When that`s out it`s best to have a helper who turns the pivot while the other uses a cut-off broom stick or something with a matching diameter and a hammer to drive it out.
There`s nothing that holds it other than the weight of the swingarm and maybe some corrosion.

There is nothing else to hold the bolt in apart from a thin film of rust ha, ha. I expect the two large spacers either side of the engine have bonded to the bolt, so some heat there would likely work and tap them round with a pin punch to get some movement started - question.. have you tried to rotate the bolt itself and will it do this?

mine had seized where it passes thru the inner bush on the left side pivot berring , really siezed . If you have to beat it out , remember to support the frame around the left side pivot , I wound up lying the whole bike on its left side , supported with various sized lumps of wood . Mine was so stuck I really thought that I had missed a circlip or something ..... till I saw the rust powder comming out
