I want to thank everybody for all of the help.
I was able to find a valid Ducati part number for Fork Seals
They are pricey but what are you going to do?
Just thought I would try and give back a little.

where did you buy them ? If from Ducati they were expensive. Most bike shops should be able to order them if you just give them the measurements.

I got them from a Ducati dealer in Los Angeles.
and I get what you are saying about being able to get them from giving the measurements but you have to understand trying to deal with bike shops here in the U.S. They only know what their computer tells them!...as a matter of fact the shop I dealt with Pro-Italia in Glendale is one of the better Ducati dealerships in the country. And they dont have anything for soucing parts for the 750 Paso.
This bike has even been orphaned by the factory!

infact I have no experiences with bike shops in the US. Most bike shops here, meaning the ones that sell accessories, clothing, helmets and wear parts have lists and catalogues to check. Finding these small parts is not a problem, I`d expect it to be the same in the US but maybe it`s not.
The fork seals from ARIETE for example retail for $20. Model #AR-ARI-028.

It is not uncommon for the principles and staff to change hands frequently with Ducati stores in the US.
Can make it a challenge to find experienced staff.


perhaps you should try talking to the folks at Bevel Heaven, Ca-cycles works or Desmo times.
Omaha Ducati also has experienced staff and are very helpful in finding the right part number to look for.

but if it`s something like fork seals, a battery, gaskets, seals, bearings or other wear parts why do you have to go to a Ducati parts supplier at all ? There are universal bike parts shops and suppliers, hardware stores etc which have or can get these things much cheaper.

WARNING!!!!

I've recently changed the fork seals on my Paso and the Ducati Part Number is WRONG!!!!!

In some time in history, someone has changed something and the seals that you get for that PN are those of the Cagiva Elephant. Having the same inner and outer diameter, they are thicker, so, they WON'T fix in the housing available in the fork.

I got them from Pyramid in eBay.
