Then my frame number must be #759, it makes me wonder
if it´s an early one? Thank´s Krakan

As a point of reference mine is #130... I'm not sure how many they built, but in general I'd say #759 of anything built by Ducati in that era isn't very early.

Not that it matters, the later 907s were better bikes anyway.

I've got #1210 - so how much better that that make it - (probably not much really...........!!)

The later bikes (not sure of frame number,s but '92s for sure) had larger brakes, imroved seats, aluminum over the mufflers, and I think a different headlight maybe???

I can't remember any other differences right now... yes they were subtle improvements, but still.

And in typical Ducati fashion - once they got them near perfect - they ended the production run & made a totally new model.......

I´m not sure, but does anyone know when the mufflers
got wrapped in alu. my -91 907 has them and is #759
or is it just the italian way.... I mean, almost every single
one of the -91:s I have seen seem to have the all black
mufflers?? But the 92 and 93:s seem to have aluminium
wrapped mufflers. But then we seem to have 12 907:s
in the whole country at least as members in the swedish
ducati club. I know that -92 upgrade included goldline
calipers, 320mm discs, lockable fuel filler cap, a slight
change on the seat(don`t know about this one, I mean
I compared my -91 to a stock -93 and to me it was no
difference), but otherwise no differernce, you know...
Never change a winning combination,.... unless you
wan`t real perfection, the Italian way. Krakan :D :D
