wont start paso

while riding this morning with no hint of any forth coming problem the bike hickuped then continued to run fine for another 30 seconds till she died completely/instantly.the bike turns over well from the starter, there is plenty of fuel and the fuel pump is doing its thing. it appears after pulling a spark pluk lead off that there is no spark. wondering what is my next port of call. hmmmm. lucky i always wanted to be a mechanic ha
