Greetings, you guys have sure put together a comprehensive compliation of knowledge here! I'm excited to have found you. Briefly; after an 11 year hiatus from my first Paso I have been reunited with the design in the form of a 92 907. I'm an Engineer for Hess oil down in St.Croix USVI, when I moved down here 2 years ago I sold my RC51 and have gone horseless since..Having been scoot rider for a good many years I fell victom (as usual) to "spring fever" this year and rekindeled the search (it's actuality on going) for a 907. As fate or luck has it I found one 20 miles from my house in Maine; after a couple of weeks of communication and following an inspection (my dad , a Triumph man at heart) I pulled the trigger. The end result is a Red 92 w 18K, good size binder of service recipts (according to dad), $1300.00 spend 1K ago (including valves, rollers and belts, seals) plus little things dad says, switches, hoses, etc.. It's set up with termi cf pipes, corbin seat, and... full set of black body work with the seat (I hate that light grey seat!). So, I just wanted to say hello and I appreciate your contributing efforts to this Forum, it's going to save me some coin and provide the information that is needed when avidly riding/owning a Duc.. I'll see if I can't post a couple pix.. Thanks again!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Sad thing is I probably won't lay eyes on the bike until next summer... :,( Theres a slim chance I'll be able to go home for Thanksgiving but I dunno yet... Dads gunna get sick of me asking for pics. I'd really like to find out if it's got a chip.. The second owner only rode it like 1K miles or so and isn't a sport rider nor a Ducati purest so if theres no recipt for it than it's a mystery untill I take the cover off the ECU... The bike appears to have been loved so I hope the first owner complemented the pipes w one...

Well, the old man got the bike home w/out much fuss; though I am a little interested in the tie-down location...
He tempted me with one good pic from the back of the truck where it sits till the AM when my brother in law gets there for the unload.
I was real curious about the actual condition of the bike; the CL pics left a lot to be desired and to the immagination, but with a decent camera, from this perspective at least, it looks clean.... More to follow... Not like you havent seen one for 30 seconds but I gotta do the proud father thing....

Na, I'm pretty sure no ducatis were hurt in the making of this picture
Believe it or not great care was taken to NOT chafe the fairing; I think they have
The tie-downs made of to the fork legs or something..
