There is no such thing as a silly post. it is good to facilitate discussion & I for one have learned a bit more about chains/sprockets because of it :thumbup:

It is also very good to know we have some "she" input into the site :cool:

I'm not a poet, but I had a go at a making poem for the first post in the Forum (at the bottom) and I'd be stoked if a few people could come up with some of their own also.

Don't worry about posting ANY questions. Working on the chain can be a challenge to anyone that hasn't done it AND knows what the consequences could be. Breaking the chain is easy it's riveting that you should use a special tool for.

I'm from the really really old school and I have riveted a chain recently using 2 hammers and a punch. I loaned my chain tools out and they were returned missing the ever important anvil used for peening the rivet top.

If you need more detailed instructions let me know.
