Anywhere Ducati parts are sold
From bone stock to big dollar carbon fiber
Really depends on how much you want to spend
someone here most likely has one laying around gathering dust
probably the most widely available Ducati part on the planet, well besides key chains

I know its easy to find a presure plate for later SuperSports models, such as the 1991-1998 model.
I have called my 3 local dealers, none had a presure plate for my model. The difference between my bike and laters Supersports are which side the presure plate is activated. My bike is activated by an axel in the cluth cover. Later models are activated from the left side of the engine.

Hi Simon,
I had the same problem some time ago and it had to be ordered. But it was still available. You will find the part number in the 750 s parts manual is the same as for the 906 (=066516703) and will fit the your 900 ss. Most dealer do not have micro fische or books for this bike so when i order i always bring my own. How ever i did not find any 89-90 900 ss book what so ever. Did you?
Cheers Joep

Yes, your 900 motor is very rare. Basically same as 906 paso, but without water cooling. Not many made. (makes you wonder how much it cost to make such a small number)
Is this plate common to all Paso, Pantahs, Sports, and F-1 motors?
Is it possibly also common to 91-9? 750 SS and monsters that had the clutch slave in the cover (and the 5 speed transmission) They were a wet clutch, but were activated in the cover the same way.
Cheers,

So a plate from either paso, 750 sports, pantah and F1 would fit ??

I would think so, since they all activate from the cover, but I don't have enough experience with the other models to say for sure.
like this model.

Australian outfit specializing in Ducati. Had a lot of stuff.
About two years ago they sold and the new owners just sold off the stock on ebay
rumor has it the two original owners are back and intend to bring it back to its former glory

The local duke guy here sez the go is to remove the central rod completely, now I would have thought that this piece was there to allign the pressure plate concentricaly, and while my pressure plate is still standard ( and yes , I did have to weld it up ),I'll probly try this if mine gives any more grief ,

It does'nt seem as such a bad idea! The plate is held by 6 bolts, so where could it run to??
I've just recived a used for my ducati, and im looking in to cut the central rod of the old one and have weld it on the presure side
