that`s really nice but is it orange ?!
It`s quite hard to find a really good 851/888 as so many have 4 owners + and many couldn`t keep their hands from the bike. It sometimes seems that some are bought cheap, then ridden hard and sold again as soon as the owner gets to know what a full service of a 4 valver at the Ducati dealer costs. But that may be more for the cheaper Stradas than the SP models. Also there are so many SP clones which makes it more difficult to find a real one.
I still have an early 851 on my list. One day ...
If you have space problems - what do you need three GPZs for ?

The 888 is Red, This Orange comes from the camera and a very sunny moment
The Bike got last Oktober a large Service + Chain kit and new tires

and was repainted for some reason. (The hanging rear brake was only on the SP5 or Racing. As the frame should be white, too I`m guessing it was completely rebuild ?)
why the hell 4 GPZ ?

It is a real SP4 with some modifications The Paint is not original, same for the frame.
The most work was done by First-Attack
http://www.first-attack.de/Galerie/galerie.html First with 916cc, later with 996cc
The Crank case is from a ST4S with moving parts from a 996SPS Engine. The camshaft is still working with mechanic Tachometer
The Original Engine comes in a crate with the bike
I will never sell my GPZ900R

I own one since 86, First owner

Rüdiger,
if you ever remove the seat fairing could you make some pictures of the things below just to see how the ECU is mounted etc ? It would be also nice to see the inner fender and closer photos of the licence plate holder and turn signals. I know two guys who`re working on a monoposto conversion

G: I cant see WHOLE headers well from that one foto/picture.... Seems it is only polished and original. sorry... Suitable foto from rear schock area will tell more, is it "käärmeenpesä" or no...
For Higgy: "käärmeenpesä" means something like "spaghetti header" with allkind nice curves and exact dimensions to get "all out" from headers and output air flow. Can be seens such from all well done racing bikes with 4-stroke engines. I quess, this is "piece of cake" to You, Higgy

2-stoke engines those dimensions are much accurate to get "all out from engine", but lenght is then not so important compared to 4-stroke's

Anyway i think such way, that such VERY NICE / CUTE motorbike SHOULD be painted like original with original decails.... It looks very good and have all good stuff(if it is REAL SP4), so, why to "spoil" it with wrong colour or decails??? Sorry, Rudiger, but i had to say it...
Anyway; You should sell near all of those jap shits....

You can let one (maybe) "for Your memories"

you see that almost vertical tube on the bottom ? That`s not part of an original header.

Next time i visit my friend, 888 SP4 owner i take few fotos of his "spaghetti header" to see how it goes... That shall be in "3 monthes", as he promissed help me with downloading / handle allkind maps for navigation systems. Btw, i visited his garage only few days ago, so we concentrated only to his KTM 990 Adventure. His 888 SP4 was surely in "background" in that moment. Pitty, that he dont live so close to me that i can get easily fotos from his 888 headers...
