Hello.

First off I'd like to thank Higgy for his help with pointing me to the right posts in setting up my Weber. Worked wonderfully. Thanks Higgy and Jayh!!

So, now to the bike... :D It's a 1990 with 15,000 miles. All stock except for the Conti pipes and the extra decals. The bike was wonderfully taken care of by its second owner for the past 21 years. It is in absolutely spectacular, showroom like shape and performs like a charm. I have the original pipes that came with the bike and just acquired an extra Weber.

Well it's quite late here and I need my rest for the ride tomorrow morning. Nice to meet you all and will be in touch soon.

Cheers!

Fantastic looking bike Fritz.I hope mine looks that good when I'm finished.Be careful of those tyres if you're taking the Sport tomorrow mate. They look like old Michies and might be a bit hard.

Cheers
Andrew

Thank you. The tires are in brand new and in great shape but yes, they are dated 2005 - I believe. I'll await for the new replacement that's coming out and switch them with time. The carb performs really nice after doing the cam mod... I don't have a fuel regulator on it and haven't tested the pressure so that's next.... And the plugs are a bit faulty so maybe I should install new coils?

Here's a video right after changing the oil and installing new belts and a few pics after taking the covers for the first time.

Wow, that bike is surprisingly stock. Very nice. Crank breather tank in place, and the tubes to the stock air box too. Very cool. Stock mirrors too. Thanks for the photos.
I have a set of full floating rotors that would look swell on that bike.

Cheers, Phil

Hi Phil,

Yes, it really is quite fun to look at it.... It's a real time machine:) - I know only 22 years old but a good one.
I'll post some more better close ups soon.

Thanks.
