Paso Front Light modification

Searching the web for 907ie pictures I found this one:
http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/088944/
I was astonished. From my personal point of view, it's the only Paso modification really improving the look of this naturally elegant bike.
I tried to contact the owner asking for technical informations, but his mailbox isn't working any more.
Do you have any suggestion about how to carry out the modification? (e.g.: spot front lights model/manufacturer, electrical modifications, etc)
I would like to do something similar on my 907, but to have a modified bike authorized for street rides in Italy requires a long validation procedure. That's why I have to set up both paper and craftwork in the correct way.

Can't help you on this mod... and have to say that to my eye it makes the front fairing look much too massive. Small lights on a huge fairing doesn't do it for me.
I saw one at Mid Ohio that had dual round lights in the original cut out. Looked much better than this mod, IMHO.

I like this setup as well and tried to contact the owner to no avail. I'm thinking that the first step in modifying your bike would be to graft a plastic plate into the existing light cavity. After that it's a matter of sourcing the lights and figuring out your wire harness.
I'll look into lights and do another post if I find something.

Just to make the investigation easier consider that:
1 - Front side light 3W (750/906) & 5W(907i.e.)
2 - Main Front Light 55/60W-H4 bulb iodine-double filament (750/906/907)
3 - Regulator 3A (750/906) & 5A(907)
4 - Generator 300W (750) & 350W (906/907)
The light power shall be taken into proper consideration to avoid regulator/generator failures.

I still prefer the red one with small circular lights.
This is just for comparison!

There is some really interesting stuff there but I don't think that small headlights suit the front end of the Paso.
With the standard sized headlight they look like a Hammerhead shark,
with the small lights they look like a Humpback whale
I have seen (but can't find again) pictures of a Paso with small Spot lights mounted under the indicators which was very well done & looked good, this is an option worth considering.
At least that is what I reckon. The blue Paso with the big single light is very intreguing though, looks well done.
What is it with the Japanese & the Ducati, Paso's in particular they just seem to love them

I found this catalogue of an italian motorcycle lights manufacturer
http://www.sgr-it.com/download/pdf/21d_FANALERIA.pdf
It will be useful for the choice of the headlight shape.
