Mine is moth-balled now - complete, only for trackdays. I can imagine that in a few years it will attract a lot of interest at the race track. It seems odd that they are breaking it, an air cooled 750 engine is common across the Ducati range (Monster, SS). The Marzocchi M1R fork is also a part used by many manufacturers and no ignition??? I can't imagine anyone taking that bitza job on.

Jim, the seller, is the owner of a highly regarded outfit called Two Wheeled Classics: http://www.twowheelclassics.co.uk/ that do brisk business in making F1 replicas. My guess is that the engine and forks will be put into one of the bikes he's building.

No kidding. Very irresponsible destroying a nice Paso.

Made an offer for the complete bike but I doubt it will to anything.

The price is comical.

Guys (and Girls?) I posted details on this here

http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5301

The whole bike was available at that price then

However the parts where a lot cheaper and in good condition so I offered to post for our benefit as they agreed to hold and see if there was any interest as they seemed keen to help the Ducatipaso.org Community..

Amazingly I had just one person show interest and then in nothing specific.

take a look at what the engine will be going into..........they are quite pretty bikes and our SS bed fellows may grow in numbers...maybe?

Looks like we should all be buying second bikes just to keep them for spares . . .
