You guys have it so good, checkout this ad on bikesales. I think we're getting ripped off looking at what you pay in GB.

I have a Ducatisti mate who married and moved to Aus a few years back and sends me details of bike prices from time to time, all bikes are expensive there but especially Ducs, they seem to fetch double uk value. He's thinking of buying one here, registering it in his name for a year and then he can import it duty free.

Sounds like a good idea, if you've got somewhere to stash it for a year. They do sit on the market for a while tho, it is a limited market...(maybe coz they're so expensive...lol) but if its a good example it will get snapped up. I'm living proof, I spent $4k buying my busted arse example  then another $2k (the amount i told the missus) giving it a birthday. I have no regrets :D

Can't argue with that at all. But when you are riding to work next, no matter what happens, your day will be better than those jokers driving their cars to work, or worse still, catching the train! And you get to do it all over again!!!

There is another 907 down the way of the Cats in Victoria. Going to be over there in the next week or 2, so might even have a look if its still there.

Just remember, only the family dog know's what its like to ride a bike. He always has his head out the window of the car!!

Cheers.

Nick.

If you need to store a bike for a year let me know I am happy to help as well as with registration forward freight etc this end if necessary. anything rather than see them stripped down.

I have family in Waurn Ponds and Grovedale, Victoria.
