Hi, i´m from czech republic and in this week i´m going to buy 907ie. Everything is in good original condition...almost. Only front brake pump isn´t. Is this difference a fault? Or..is it possible to buy an original pump? Thanks for all opinions.

I`m not sure I understand if the brake pump is not ok or was replaced by another one.
Basically you can use any brake pump no matter if it`s an original Brembo, a Brembo brake pump from a newer Ducati model, a Nissin from a japanese bike or any aftermarket.

Front brake pump runs good, but it looks like brake pump, for example, from 748. It is not original. It has a typical small PVC brake tank on handlebar (as supersports). And i don´t know, if this difference is a lack,fault.. I mean about value of the motorcycle. If it is necessary to find and buy an original brake pump to improve a value of the bike. Which models have the same brake pump?

A different brake pump will not influence the value of the bike. The 907ie is far away of being an investment with increasing value such as a bevel 750 Supersport.

Thanks a lot for your opinion. In our country is really difficult to find any informations about Ducatis under 1993, really impossible. There are about three 907 in our country. Im going to buy 907 in this weekend and i dont want to make any mistake. I know about 907 almost nothing, so im really afraid of availability of parts. First i wanted to buy 400 F3 (japan version of 350 F3), but it wasnt in good conditon - i think availability is even worse then 907. In this moment i can buy this 400 F3, but i dont now what to do with it (parts,renovation..). So i will buy 907 and i hope it will be easier.

If you are searching for a collectible bike which could rise in value in the future, then buy the F3 400.
The 907 probably will not increase in value so how the F series.
About the front brake master cylinder (or pump).
The most important thing is that the bike brakes very well.
Besides, you van think about the other things.
So, if you want to have the bike fully stock, it will be enough you get and keep a stock pump. You will find it very easily because probably she is the most common pump on Ducati, monted until the Monster series, if I well remember.
I have a 999's pump and some upgraded rotors and calipers, but also all the stock bits.
This is the most important thing.

Could you be looking for this type of brake pump on the 907? Used in the earlier 900 SS types, later replaced by a plastic reservoir.

Must say the price is, to my opinion, quit high being 107 Euro. Use ebay search so you get an alert every time some items are placed on ebay, use words like "ducati, brake pump, front, paso, 907, ss, supersport"
Sit back and wait for the right one to be posted with an acceptable price. Works for me.
