hellooooooo, its nnnnnorman! back in the land of the paso 906! after an enforced break due to mechanical breakdown and other stuff, im back on the saddle of a 906! well over the winter i've been having fum on my ccm r30 and the st2 on longer rides, but now i've just found a 1990 7,378 miles red and white beauty in great original condition and it got a shiny unused tool kit! if you knew how much it cost you would cry! i still have the old black and gold 1991 906 but she is poorly. on my new baby she has been stored for eight years so its the belts, filters and fluids time. what is the part number for the belts? are there any new improved ones? the bike has ten year old low profile pirelis on. they have tread and look a little like the old michelins......any ideas on these?
i am really looking forward to some summer miles on this bike i will upload some pictures soon.......its good to be back

Welcome back!
You'll have to do some little work on your new Paso.
For sure, you need to replace fluids, filters and, above all, the belts, part. number 73740021A.
About the tires, I guess your Pirellis are older than 10 years.
I would'nt ride the bike with those tires.
Good work.
Ciao

Sounds good to me Nnnnnorman , belts and tires at the least , and I do believe that there are new Kevlar belts available , some good aftermarket stuff too ( mentioned here recently to a newcomer wanting to know about belts ..... I think they were on E-bay )....... wanna sell the tool kit , I gotta say you'd be a mug if you did , but I wouldn't mind a pic of one all laid out . Cheers Nnnnnorman

This is a 907ie toolkit and here you find an overview of the contents. Rhino will tell you that there are different pliers as the colours of the grips varied

PS: if someone has an original 24mm ring spanner (for a 907ie) left over, pls. let me know.
