Hi guys, I hope I am not asking a stupid question on this, but on my ride home from work yesterday, the end of my rear brake pedal fell off. I talked to my local dealer, and it is not available anymore. Does anyone know if there are any alternatives to getting either a replacement end piece, or if I have to get a new lever with the end. I really don't want to use a bolt on the end of the lever if I don't have to. Thank you for the help. Have a great day.
Regards, Paul

If you use a dome headed bolt it would be hard to tell

Go for a nice carriage bolt and use the stock rubber, or bit of rubber hose. I've seen it done well and can hardly notice its not stock.
Cheers, Phil

good to see a bit of the old school ingenuity

25bucks for a bit of metal and 40 to send it overseas

well, it`s $22 for two, it looks "original" and Paul is in the US so it`s 5,60 for shipping.
That`s for sure more expensive than a simple bolt but a lot cheaper than a new complete lever.
I guess it depends on what one is looking for.

Easy DIY work.
I guess I also would manage to do it!!!!
Good work

if its made G will find it
I agree, it would look original and cheaper than a new lever
...but I can't get over the shipping costs (for us overseas) for something so small, ridiculous really

I did order the lever kit from European cycle. I think to some degree, we are all a bunch of crazy butchers!

Share some pictures when you get it and do the repair.

Hey guys, I just wanted to update you on the brake lever issue. I did order the lever end repair kit from European Cycle, and it worked great. You don't have to take the old lever off. I just bought a new rubber end and slid it on, and it looks great. Thank you for your help!
