Any advice on what to do or what not to do to get the fuel pump & filter out of the tank without screwing things up? Appreciate any advice.

Thanks

- Remove the Tank Cap and Ring
- First Disconnect the Fuel Hose between the Filter and the Tank.
- Now the Hand in the Tank and push two flat clips togteher

Inside the Tank you can see the position of the clips in the round for the pump

Exchange all Fuel Hoses, it is easy now

If like mine its stuck fast then you may need to unbolt the securing ring from the pump (loosen is probably enough) to allow some flex/movement and then woggle it all around again to get it to move

When you put the pump back in, don't forget to hook back up and check the rubber overflow hose that goes to the gas cap ring. If you forget this, then when you fill'er up, gas will pour out your overflow hose on the ground until the tank empties to about 3/4. Yes, that's experience talking. :)
