headstock stand ?
I have a pit bull front stand and when I put the pin in the headstock the stand interferes with the oil cooler. What brand of front stands do you guys use for removing forks etc? Ps. First post, just picked up a 1990 750 Sport here in Savannah, Georgia. Love it, what a rad bike! Cheers -Dave

Re: headstock stand ?
Welcome to the site Dave,
They certainly are a great bit of kit.
I use an Anderson Headstand, and it just clears the oil cooler (will not work with the std fairing fitted), however it does foul the brake light switch and needs be careful when using it.
Other than that, I use to use a hydraulic car type lift jack and a lump of timber under the front head works as well but only just and is obviously a bit dangerous.
Cheers

Re: headstock stand ?
I use a bit of 22mm copper tube to sleeve the spigot so the pin doesn't go so far in the headstock. that gives me a bit more clearance. works on 907 .

Thanks guys, will give it a try. Dying to get my new, adjustable Tommaselli clip ons a go.
