Has anyone else put the Golden Tyres on their Paso 750. I just put my '87 Paso back together and found that the front tire rubs against the front fender on one side and has very little clearance on the other. I am thinking of putting a spacer on the front mount to move the fender up a bit. Any suggestions? Yes, I do have problems with my Paso but I still love it.

Nothing beats a well aged NOS

I'm waiting for the Goldentyres I bought to be 10 years old NOS before I install them.

Like wine and classic bikes, they only get better.

I bet if you sponsor some scientific research it'll conclude that in a few years all the environmentally friendly chemicals
disperse leaving behind pure, supple, pavement gripping rubber.

+ NOS sounds so much more sophisticated than just NEW.

When you ride 20 year old Michelins the cracks are free.

Stick your NOSe in a sealed bag of new 10 year old M59's and you know NOS is good.

Even Mc Tool seems to have recognized the benefits and brought his stash into the house.
This way he can both monitor the aging process and get his daily whiff of NOS.

No one else has mentioned it.

On car tires, at least, I found the modern ones to have a smaller diameter than the same size classic ones,
like Michelin MXL and XWX.

my front fender had marks on the inner sides from the old Michelin...

I'm using GTs for 6000kms and no rubbing.

Are you moving back to 16in or are you staying with 17in

those marks are many years old. I never had 17" and never will.

Didn't you change to some taller tires?

I remember the bike leaning a lot with the standard kick stand

that was due to the 907ie swingarm in combination with the 130/180 16" Avons

Hi,
How the bike ride with this new Golden tyres?
I was changed the front dimension by 130/70 to have better filling on the side.
When touch brake in curve, the bike continue to turn and not stand up !
