ST2 cams seem to be the sought after ones for Desmodue racing in the UK. Consequently they're almost unobtainable :(

I would love a motor like that for my bike. Big job, mega bucks!

they are always around but finding them at obtainable pricing is a challenge for sure

hello
First Attack is one of the best addresses for our Ducatis in Germany
The remodeling is probably done at the customer through.
If I interpret the performance chart correctly are here to about 100 ps.
Why such a financial burden. ???
This is probably significantly higher than the 907ie
A St3 engine conversion would be the cheaper option
Now, as the customer would like to

Uwe Heinz

Just a question for all: Did anyone try to put 1000ds pistons and heads on a 888 block? Can they fit?

Very interesting, thanks G!

Also wondering which heads, throttlehouses & ECU he used?

Anyone know if a 1000 cc 2V fits our frame, thinking about the front engine mount?

I recently met a guy who put a Suzuki SV1000 motor in his Paso but I guess that is not what you mean

There are 2 different 1000ds engines, the one installed on elder monsters and the one installed on Multistrada (that "might" be installed on superbike frames) The difference is in the position of bearings for rear fork/arm and width of lower rear mount. Both should be ok in front engine mount

The Monster 1k & 1kDS engine fits, the 2 rear engine mounts are bolt-on,
the Multi 1kDS doesn`t.
Good to hear front mount is not a problem.

Suzuki v-twin is a great engine. I can't imagine a Paso running with that beast...
