Re: Back on the road
nice bike. The interesting thing about the exhaust is that I have the identical one with a aluminium cover and it`s from L&W. It seems that it was also sold as BOS just like some other exhaust systems that exist under different brand names.

Re: Back on the road
The exaust are alluminium really, but they had some scratches and i put a carbon-like adesive sheet on it specifically made for high temp.
Other modifications, well basically it's all original. But i removed the air filter and put a fiat 127 abarth one (you can see it on the gallery at s/n 276). I did not touch the weber setting since and in case you need, you don t need to remove all the fairings.
And, yes The bike has nearly 100.000 km

Re: Back on the road
is that a NonFango rack and if so how is it installed on the rear? Do you have a picture with the rear side fairing off?
100.000km is hard to believe considering the condition

That's a beautiful 87, I've always liked the chrome and silver accents a little better than the 88 black ones. Regards Arch.

I'm still wondering about that airfilter. It seems so small.

Re: Back on the road
It works great. I just added the black plastic spacer from a 906 weber, a plastic "roof" to avoid water ingestion in case of heavy rain And connected the two sides at the bottim of carburetor with an alluminium hose. To register the air screws, now you don t need to remove any fairing

Yeah , me too . I do like the carbon fibre wrap tho , I have a few scrapes on my LH side stainless muffler that wont polish out and that carbon looks to be the cure . Bike looks goodpaso750 wrote:I'm still wondering about that airfilter. It seems so small.
