Recently got my 750 out again after not riding it for 2 years. I've finally decided to do something about the oil sight glass - the glass (or whatever) has some small cracks and weeps oil when the engine is hot. I've removed the main nut and had a good look at it but can't see if the glass comes out. Before I go and buy a new part has anyone successfully repaired one of these?

its is far easier to just get one from Ducati they come as a universal part oil or ignition sight glass you just flick out the steel insert for the ingnition side
