Paso Exhaust Cans?

Post by davidhughrose »

I'm a bit disturbed to see that Staintune no longer sells exhaust slip-ons for my 88 750 Paso. Who still makes exhausts to fit the timeless Paso?

Cobra still makes the F1's to fit the Paso.

Check out this site http://www.yellow.co.nz/site/motorcycle ... ecialists/

On their home page you will see a set of cans on a 900ss like I have on my Paso. You will not find better quality of material or workmanship. The sound, which you can adjust, and the performance, are exceptional. The price is good, I believe, in US dollars - about $500, but the shipping will cost a bit if you're on the other side of the world. But they will last you a lifetime.

Outstanding reference Grand Poohbah! After checking out their website, assuming their quality is as stated, I couldn't get a message off to them for price/availability fast enough. My current Yoshimura slip-ons work well and are still like new (like the rest of the bike), but I'd simply like something different.

Fall is in the air here in the US/N hemi and it's a great time for riding! Hope you are doing the same in NZ.

No kidding? I've been trying to decide what to do myself. I was thinking of picking up another pair of stock cans and doing a little modification to them ... they'd still look stock, but wouldn't act it. We'll see. I see them on ebay every once in a while, but I'm not exactly hopping up & down to it ... too many other things in line first!

I seen them on a site when looking for something else, but don't recall which one now? They were about $280? Personaly I'd have to remove the orange painted "F1" though :umm:

Staintune only recently (about 12 months ago) deleted the Paso Exhausts so if you check dealers like Gowanloch (see links page) that are "Paso Friendly" & deal with the older bikes there may be some sitting on shelves still. Don't bother with your modern Ducati "Boutique" that does not acknowledge the existance of the pre '90's bikes.

the Staintunes are worth a bit of effort to seek them out
